Thomas hauled in seven catches for 193 yards and two scores (including a 63-yarder) for Tarleton State. Da’Leon Ward had 149 rushing yards on 21 carries in the losing cause for SFA (0-2). SFA plays at Southern Utah on Sept. 14, while the Texans host Doane.
